Nespresso machine - worth the money?

It's dh's birthday and soon and I've been thinking about getting him a Nespresso machine - specifically the Magimix Citiz M190 & Milk.

He has had a Senseo machine for a few years, which he likes as it's so quick and easy to use. Does a nespresso machine make better coffee or not?

We've got a Krups Nespresso, only had it a few weeks, but love the coffee, however have not tried Senseo to compare. Downside of Nespresso is only being able to buy the capsules direct from the Nespresso website, can't get them in the supermarket. It is very quick and easy to use. The capsules work out at about 28p each inc p&p.

Did quite a bit of online research before deciding on Nespresso, it did get a lot of very good reviews and opinions generally, it seems it runs at higher pressure than any of the other caspule systems. Was a bit Blush about it being Nestle though, I must admit.

We've had a gaggia evolution for years and it's great. I wouldn't want to get a machine that can only use capsules - one of the joys of a coffee machine is being able to try lots of different types of coffee.

i wouldn't buy anything by nestle, regardless of how good the coffee was.

to be honest, the best coffee you can make at home is using a stovetop moka. and it's a fraction of the price!

thanks for the replies.

I mentioned it to dh in the end and he said he's quite happy with the one we've got so perhaps I'll leave it.
