Bedside lamp

We are looking at moving DS 17 mo to a small single bed over the next few months. One of the things that I would like to have in his room is a small bedside cabinet with a light that he can turn on and off.

(I'm probably setting myself up for trouble where he plays with it all night).

Are there any good bedside lights out there suitable for children? I would prefer one that he won't burn his fingers on. I'm not so worried about having a power lead as I'll cable clip the power lead to the cabinet.

Should I just avoid bed side lights completely until he is significantly older?

For a cheapish option - what about Ikea??

We bought our 3yo son this - it is paper so no risk of burning or the risk of glass or sharp plastic.

Ikea also have many tables
