are ecco childrens shoes any good?

am trying to find some ankle boots for my son who is nearly 3. he has hypermobility so needs support round the ankles- can get startrite in right size and the clarks ones are horrible. ecco have some but is this brand good, like start rite? thanks.

I love ecco shoes - dd and ds1 both had them as first shoes, and dd still has ecco school shoes if I can get hold of them.They're well made (IMO) and just seemed really light and flexible while being supportive.

Another fan here - both my DDs had Ecco boots and I loved them because they gave plenty of support without having really stiff, heavy soles.

They are quite wide in my experience. My son is a G and they are fine for him.

We've been happy with lots of pairs for him.
