Contract hire recommendation?

I need to sort out a company car (contract hire) for one of our members of staff (we run our own small business).

Last time we did this (a few years ago) we had real hassle with the contract hire company and they ended up supplying the wrong spec vehicle, big delay etc.

So I'd like to avoid that this time - has anyone had any experience of contract hire through work/busines and can recommend a reliable company?

thanks

have you considered going through a broker, they do the hard work on your behalf?

I used to work in contract hire but unfortunately the fabulous company i worked for were bought out and have gone (or they wuld have been my recommendation!) but I always found brokers got good deals as they were good at shouting and being bolshy on the customers behalf esp for small business customers!

I can't think off the top of my head which were the best but I am in touch with some of my old colleagues and could ask for their advice if you would like?

That would be brilliant, thanks - hadn't thought of a broker. Any tips would be great if you get a chance - thanks!

I haven't used this company, but have heard lots of good reports of
Lings cars.

Their website is truly awful, but they see to offer a good level of service.

"seem to"

doh!

Oh yes, I had heard about her ages ago - will give it a try and see what the prices are like; any other recommendations welcome!

thanks

No problem I will see what I can find out for you.

right I have some info for you, the three top recommended are
London Leasing and finance (richard)- prob the best.
PJ Leasing and Trinity vehicle management.

I can get numbers for them if you need them.

She did say though you may have problems being underwritten if you are not a Ltd company. worth giving them a call i'm sure they will be able to give you some advice.

Hope this helps.

Fantastic, that's brilliant - thanks so much.

Have googled their details so all set for some calls tomorrow. We are a Ltd company so hopefully it should be fine - have leased in the past so some history there, just wouldn't use that particular company again.

Really appreciate your help with this - fantastic!
