Going to get my ds his first handy for start of secondary.
I understand that they are as much to do with fitting in. I don't want him to be picked on for having something really rubbish, but don't want something expensive.
I know he'd love an iPhone. Obviously no way. But is there a cheap basic similarish? He really wants an ipod touch and is saving up for one. Maybe if there is a phone out there not as expensive that would be a good compromise and save us having another piece of tech in the house?
Or could I get away with giving him one of our old ones (we're talking 6 years ld with the level of technology that goes with a 6 year old phone!) (ie no camera, tiny, but colour, screen, only good for calls and texts)
And def PAYG?
