...any good?

Thinking of something like this

Need something pretty toddler proof and easily washable, yet squishy and comfortable.

We have a big one in green and 2 smaller brown ones- v comfy and not been broken by 2 jumping toddlers yet...

Um, we have one in yellow and it is certainly not toddler-proof. The cushion covers can be removed and washed, but not the rest, and ours is now frankly disgusting. Not just DS's fault, we've all spilled stuff on it. But it's really dirty and 'orrible.

Cheap though. Just get a dark colour.

IMoveTheStars · 26/08/2010 13:33

ah, sounding promising. I think we'll get dark grey ones as DP frequently tips red wine and curry on our current one Hmm

Anymore positive reviews?

We've got a leather one. A bit more expensive but defnitely toddler-proof! The button-back style is more comfortable that the regular one (we know this because they mistakenly delivered the regular one and we used it for a couple of weeks before they could send the one we'd actually ordered), but they are both pretty comfy. The toddler-proof-ness of it is partly because it's black, but it's looking pretty good and dd is 17mo now, so has been standing on it for a while, and putting her sticky fingers all over it, not to mention spilling milk...

You can definitely remove all the covers. It is a faff but is doable

hmm.. threelittlepebbles I am very much a lounger. Mind you, I could just chuck a few cushions in while we're there Grin

How are they for sleeping on? We don't have a spare room so if my sister stays over she has to sleep on the sofa (not that this is a major consideration mind)

We've got the three-seater sofabed in red, v comfy (I like a firm sofa) and easy to convert to sofabed, also comfy. Gets filthy with 2x toddlers but is washable!

tvfriend · 26/08/2010 14:19

DH has fallen asleep on the 3 seater sofa many a time. Not sure about a proper night's sleep but sofabed probably fine

missbeehiving · 26/08/2010 14:36

We have the 3+2 sofa. Love it. Cleans up well. Can lounge with impunity.

thank you all, this is very helpful! :)
