Going to Italy in a weeks time for a family wedding. I really need to find a beautiful dress for my dd for the wedding and suitable in the warm weather.

Any recommendations for websites/shops where I can get one within the week?

She is in size 0-3 months

Some lovely dresses in Debenhams and Monsoon as already mentioned.

Springchicken · 30/08/2005 11:27

Monsoon is great. I got my DD a lovely one from there when my DB got married in April, DD was 9 months.

What about Debenhams? or for something a bit different you could try Verdabaut {sp?). Can never remember how to spell it but there is usually a link on Mumsnet.

My sis just got married in Italy. Whereabouts are you going? Try vertbaudet.

When I got married dd was only 2 months. We got her dress from Monsoon (matching shoes too ).
I think the dress was £40 IIRC.

Third Monsoon.

Another vote for Monsoon, we had christening outfits from there and they where beautiful. There is a Monsoon outlet at Biscester - there may well be other around the country . . .

Depends on your price range. Personally I wouldn't spend a fortune on a dress for just one day as she'll grow out of it so quick. I would go to next or George at Asda and just buy a pretty summer dress

spacecadet · 31/08/2005 10:17

only prob is that all the winter stuff is coming in now!, i would try and see if you can get a dress in the sales, try BHS, debenhams, adams, monsoon, H&M or mini mode at boots. you could also try suitibly exquisite on ebay, they do lovely special occasion dresses, but its seriously not worth spending a lot on for just one day.

asda got some great dressers in
