Door mat for inside - not coir though

I'm looking for an attractive mat to go on the inside by our back door. Coir ones just seem to make a mess and shed all the dirt and bits of mat. It will go on a pale wooden floor so am looking for something nice looking!

The washable cotton ones on the rubber back are good, non slip. Mine is similar to Argos pg 792 no.11. I suppose not very attractive.

Maggie, there are effective ones, but not attractive ones. You have to choose
