dd wants a baby annabell from santa - this is fine however the tears it crys - do you have to give the baby water in the bottle for it to later cry?

Yup ... and I think to wet her nappy ( or is that another doll ?)

does she still make the sucking action with out water in the bottle?

baby annabel doesn't cry real tears, she has a recording sound of crying (and yes she 'sucks'). The one that cries real tears (if you squeeze it's arm after drinking water) is baby born.

I would say avoid baby annabel like the plague if you possibly can... the sound is the most horrible unbearable noise I have ever encountered

Yep thats right, Baby Annabel doesn't cry tears she just makes a racket.

strange just after i read this the baby annabell add came on u r right fairydust it NOW has real tears.

dd1 has a baby abigail, that snores, and it scares me sometimes as it will suddenly go off. so dd2 got a baby sophie which has magnets in her hands and feet (so dh cant pink it up atm, oops!!) but she is silent. bliss!
