LADIES (& Gents obviously)I need your help URGENTLY!!!!

I have a friend staying with me until Thursday, when she will be off back on her way to Jakarta. She is looking for a present for a friends new baby and wants to buy a cot quilt. The baby will be a girl but she wants something bright, lime/orange kind of affair IYKWIM . We've tried all the usual outlets and mail order but can't find anything that is bright really.

HELP!!!!

Something that is online would be best so that she could possibly order when she gets home. but any ideas would be more than welcome.

I know you can do it - you've never failed me before......

Hi there,
Quilts are not recommend for babies under one.(This is what we were told when expecting DD)
How about a cot bumper set from Motherecare. The baby Circus range is pretty bright.

mothercare does a bright range - can't remember what it is called - what about a sleeping bag instead - also do those in brilliant colours - mothercare again.

We found dd's sleeping bags invaluable - she can buy quilted or non quilted - I would have thought Jakarta - non quilted would be much better - then if need be she can layer the clothing without baby getting too hot. Again lots of stores have htem - or you can order online from grobag.

Hope that helps.

Coddy - are you on commission to all these places like me with the M&S cakes???

Seriously ladies, thanks for the help. My friend is off back now to Jakarta with some great ideas for sites to try. The quilt is actually a present for a friend in Cyprus - yes the complications go on - so that should be fun getting it there!!!!

I am teasing you

I've been a bit sporadic on here over the last few weeks and I always have a look for you because you make me smile and give good advice, and I've just noticed that once or twice you've given good advice about places to go that people seem really keen to follow... didn't upset you did I (especially with me being very insistent about M&S cakes on the birthday cake thread the other week....)???
