Volvo V70

Does anyone have one (esp with the 7 seat option in the back?)

What are they like in terms of reliablity and comfort? and what is the MPG?

We need the 7 seats as there are 6 of us and 2 dogs. However we very rarely all go out together now which is why I think this would be a good car as we can use it as an estate for most of the time with the seats in the boot folded flat.

I don't imagine the extra 2 seats are very comfortable but they are there if we need them and we can't afford the XC90 with the more comfortable seats

TIA

I do, we are 2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs. We don't have a seat in the boot but we do have a divider in the boot which I thought we would use if I had to put shopping in the boot while the dogs were there (never used it).

It is really fuel efficient - ours is diesel - but the main reason we got it was because it had the biggest boot we could get while still being a normal car. (Sorry I am tired & not very articulate at mo!) We wanted to be able to accommodate dogs (and one is a labrador so largeish) plus a pushchair plus luggage. BUT nevertheless we still ended up buying a roofbox for our fnortnight's holiday this summer, so that the two boys wouldn't be packed in by rolls of socks and wet boots and the picnic ad all the usual extra bits in the back seats.

It's great to drive, sturdy, responsive. The only weird thing I find with it is that the driver's seat is really low and despite all my adjusting I still feel as if I'm crouching in the footwell peering over the dashboard.

Erm... I don't know what else. I am not really a good person to talk about cars tbh. So not really sure why I posted.

Thank you. Any feed back is good. Interesting about the low seat as I have to sit on a cushion in our fiesta to feel high enough. Have had a peugeot 806 so am used to being high up. May need to sit in a few!

Yes I did a 2-hour round trip this evening with the seatbelt across my throat.

Come to think of it I should look at it again. I am only 5'2 this can't be right.

I have one, a V70 T5 (fast one). They have a known problem with the throttle module which causes the cars revs to suddenly surge or behave erratically. They can also suffer with dodgy electrics. Mine is 10 years old though, not the new shape ones.
