Suggestions for a really big playpen with ultra soft mat/padding?

OK - well DC3 is now 7 months old and is crawling, standing and cruising with a vengeance. Trouble is, we fitted hard wooden floors a few months ago and they are not at all baby crusing friendly!! Need to get a playpen I think for those times when I'm out of the room or trying to do other important tasks like going to the loo.

We have a large sitting room so I'd like to get a nice big one so she has room to moblise but I do want a nice padded mat.

Any suggestions before I start googling like mad?

put a stairgate on the living room door and put down a decent rug

There is a playpen out there called a 'something I can't remember' XXL. I have seen it on a Multiples forum of another popular parenting website.

On the other hand, how about some foam floor tiles?
