MAM Anti Colic bottles - heating??

We hbave bought the MAM anti colic bottles after our son suffered terribly with colic first time round.

I'm just wondering how people make formula and heat it?

Can you shake the feed to mix it or will it leak out of the vented holes?

Plus re heating - i've read somewhere that they shouldn't be heated with the lid on due to the vacuum - does the teat have to be removed too?

Any advice welcome!

We always heated the bottle in the microwave without the teat and top on.
They don't leak at all (unless you've screwed it on wrong in a bleary eyed fog!)when all bits on.
