I'm in the market for a new stroller, for 13 week old ds. have found two maclaren's we like, well, if truthful, i like the ryder, dh prefers the classic, hence stalemate!. has anyone any experience with either to help us with our final choice?

Techno Classic and Techno XT are exactly the same buggy but with slightly different trim, eg fabric. But in terms of size and weight of their basic frames they are identical. i have a Classic which is fine, my ds is nearly 20m and Ive had it since he was about 4-5m. he has always napped OK in it if we are out and about. He is still quite happy to sit in it, but the one thing I don't like about maclaren buggies is that even in their most upright positions, the babies always tend to slump a bit because of the seat design. It doesn't seem to bother my son though! Can't comment on the Ryder, but check out the Maclaren website which gives all the dimensions, weights etc. I've also seen M&P Pulse buggy a lot recently. it's much cheaper but I don't know how flat it goes.
