Hi,
Were buying a kitchen from MFI and dont know if we should use their fitters to install it or use the builder. Theres lots of ad hoc things that they need to do ie put in fake doors, bring some of the units forward off the wall etc.
I dont know if I trust them to do this correctly.

Whats your experience of having them.
Thanks

we had an MFI kitchen fitted in our previous house and were very pleased. They did the whole kitchen including all tiling and floor tiles.

Yes we used an MFI recommended fitter for our kitchen. Have to say I think we paid a lot (but there are always cheaper options for everything...) but sooooooo pleased with the lovely looking results.
Would use them again.

We're thinking of buying a kitchen from MFI too.
Can I be cheeky and ask which one you've gone for Kbaby ?

All I can say is "Don't do it" MFI and their fitters are quite possibly one of the worst experiences of my entire life!

1 year and several complaints later it finally got finished

Were going for the maranella one. Its cream gloss with a cherry trim. DH went and spoilt it though by deciding he wants a american fridge which is why its proving tricky to design as I want the fridge built in with larder units either side and cupboards over it.
Which one are you getting?

Haven't decided yet & haven't costed them out.
Keep changing our minds from going for plain white gloss - like Bilbao I think - or going for the darker wood ones. I keep looking at the expensive ones but probably can't afford them.

I just want one with clean simple lines that won't look out of date in 5 year's time.

Also need new sofa, decorating in kitchen & living room & bedroom, new ceiling in part of bedroom, new garage roof --- we just don't know where to start so not getting anywhere!!!
