Hello, this is my first ever post so apologies if this has been covered somewhere before, but does anyone know if a phil and ted's cocoon can be washed in the machine? I have bought a second hand buggy and want to stick it all in the machine before use! Thanks.Smile

I think the instruction say not. I surface washed mine with some soapy water and a sponge then rinsed.

The base is rigid, I doubt it would fit in a standard washing machine anyway.

Maybe give it a wash in the bath if you really want to be thorough? Ours was always lined with blankets so never really got mucky.

Didn't think about lining it! Will sponge wash it when the sun is out all day to dry it. Thanks

DD was born in December so we always wrapped her before putting her in the cocoon.

Makes cleaning up sick much quicker too if you only have to whip out a blanket :)
