I really want one! Grin

But would I be right in thinking that you can't get a buggy in the boot?

Hiya
I have a fiat 500 and gorgeous it is too. I think that the boot dimensions are even smaller than the mini.
I have had it since having DS
I fit a Quinny Zapp in the boot wiht no probs at all and I recently upgraded to a McLaren Volo which also just pops in. And can generally get a good week's shop in there too

I was just gonna ask if anyone has a Mini! I am thinking of buying one.

Regards the boot/buggy thing - I think the rear seats fold dead flat so you could roll one in maybe.

I might visit a dealership today Grin

I am thinking that due to the lack of response on here, I am obviously the only one stupid enough to consider this!

It's one of the only "affordable" cars that I like - it's either that or a VW Golf, but that is going to be so much more expensive.

Might have to visit a dealership myself and check the boot space out!

Do you mean an old mini, or a new MINI?

I had a mini when DD was born. Zap fitted in the boot fine, or infront of her car seat.

A new mini Norma - as I think I would struggle to get in one of the old ones myself let alone with a 2yo and a buggy!

Mmmm, now to convince DH......

I have one, worked fine for my DD and I, however, now PG with number 2 we are selling it and getting a touran!!

Hello, this is very after the event but couldn't resist chipping in. I had a Cooper S when DD1 was born, but we sold it shortly afterwards because getting into the back to get her in and out in the car seat did my bloody back in Hmm

We also had to take both the wheels off the Bugaboo to get it in the boot, and couldn't get anything else in.

Despite all this, not a day has gone by when I don't miss that car!! Loved it.

I was just about to start the same thread - apologies for barging in on yours! I am newly pregnant (12 week scan tomorrow - very scared!!). I used to own a new model Mini cooper but stupidly sold it to a friend a few years ago and have lived to regret it. Now that I am pregnant, a car purchase is on the cards and I couldn't think of buying anything other than a Mini. But I too am worried about the size and also it being a coupe. Would a Mini Clubman be better than a Mini Cooper? Still, the Clubman only seems to come in coupe. They are bringing out the Countryman but I don't really want to spend that much. Any thoughts on the baby friendliness of Cooper versus Clubman?

Agree with Whoam above, that the boot is plenty big enough for a buggy, but getting DCs in and out - especially when still rear facing is a nightmare. Lovely car though.....still miss ours. Swapped it for a four door Golf.
