Fatboy bean bag - anyone got one?

We bought ours a couple of years ago - it was bloody expensive - and it's now gone flat and looks awful. There's no split so the beans can't have leaked out - I can't understand how it's happened. It's as if it's all bag and very few beans. I can't find anything other than glowing reviews on the net.

Anyone have Fatboy experience? Grin

we have two elephant bean bags which are the same they had a better offer on at the time that's why I bought them. I have had to buy one of the top up bags for each one. I think the beans squashed over time.

I'd write to them - they are expensive - so should have some kind of after care service.

I've had one - but only since last Xmas - so it's still fine.

Ours is now about 6 years old and in the last year it has gone a bit more flat, but it has had a lot fo use, plus had D and friends jumping all over it over the time.

I think the beans just gets squashed, aswith all beanbags. Two years doesn't seem great though - unless it has really heavy use.

I assume you can get bean refills, although not sure how expensive.

Eeek - £49-75 for official refill packs. Might be cheaper to buy a cheap beanbag and refill with those beans instead.

You can get top up bean refills from Dunelm Mill. I think it is about £5 for the smaller bag but they also do a hoofing great refill bag.

Amazon has some cheaer refil packs too: \link{http://www.amazon.co.uk/Refill-Replacement-Beans-Bean-CUFT/dp/B002G1T390\here}

But the thing about the fat boy is that it isn't polysterene beads - it's foam beads - as in the miracle foam mattresses - so they should last much longer than the normal ones.
Thats how they justify their prices! I'd write to them.
