Is 5 too young for a Skateboard?

DS1 will be 5 in Nov and is obsessed with skateboards, so I thought about getting him this

It says age 5 but do you think he'd be too young? Has anyone's ds (or dd) had one of these?

don't think so

After all its not like he's going to be going to a skateboard park is it?

He'll probably just balance his foot on it and then get bored.

DS is 5 and has had one of thoses half size ones for a littlr while now and he loves it. I don't think he would manage very well on a full size one though.

Thanks, yeah that's what I thought.

Is that like a mini skateboard distal? Might look into those first then.

I think so, it is about 12 inches long(I'm guessing) so it is actually probebly smaller than 1/2 size. I hope he enjoys whatever you chose for him, we got DS'S from Woolworths but it was a little while ago.
