We are finally looking to upgrade from dial up to broadband. Any recommendations or anything I should look out for?

I changed from dial up with Tiscali to Broadband earlier this year.

I have the 2.5mb version which was 19.99 with a 15gb monthly cap, but they have just reduced the charge to 17.99 and removed the cap

Tiscali Broadband

They do other packages too

we have tiscali as well, but the phone package - £19.99 apparently for the phone as well, we've got the 30gb limit as DH switched the phone to which apprently is free evenings and weekends.

We are on virgin, think it is one of the cheepest, i think we pay £17 a month.

I never found tiscalis customer service to be very good and difficult to leave them! Am with Demon at the mo, my best so far. 2Mbps and no download limits, free set up and modem £20 a month. Their customer service has been really good as well.

virgin is only 512 kbps with a 6 gb limit but the massive bonues is no 12 month contract
