Looking for an atlas for 6 year old

I am looking for an atlas for a 6 year old. Has anyone got any recommendations -I found a collins one aimed at the young but the comments were that it was not precise enough - whatever that means so it put me off.

Depends what you want it for really. Who said it was 'not precise' enough?!

We had the Usborne Children's Picture Atlas' for older DSC, and my parents have bought us a new copy for DS. I love it, the information is accurate, but in bite size chunks. Maps are also accurate but are illustrated with animals/birds/landmarks to make them more interesting for children. DS is just 5 and really enjoys looking at it, and seems to have taken in quite a lot.

I dont work for Usborne Grin just think it's good to have innformation books which are still appealing.

we have the IKEA one, but it is more like a picture book than a proper atlas.

yes we have the Ikea one already. I really want one that does n't have lots of animals and landmarks all over it. While the Ikea one is good I think it is a bit OTT and even hides the shape of the countries in places.

So basically after bog standard normal junior atlas.
