What does your toddler wear on her feet indoors in winter?

I'm not a big fan of slippers or indoor shoes but poor DD's little toes seem to be getting chilly already (I know mine are). Not sure I have much faith in those supposedly non-slip socks either (we have polished wood floors). What's the best solution?

DS uses socks and robbeez (sp?) slippers during winter.

You get those all in one sleep suits with feet in them, which are good for first thing in the morning/last thing at night.
Slippers in this house.

if you don't wash them for long enough the dirt provides an insulation against the worst of the cold I find

flamesparrow · 24/08/2005 17:47

Oooh cheerios here too!

Adams do nice soft slippers - no hard soles or anything

ionaming · 24/08/2005 18:33

DD wears Clarks doodles slippers - they're they only ones we found that stay on. They wear really well too

stacijc · 24/08/2005 19:04

just socks but i live obn 1st floor so heat from below warms floor and i have carpet so slipping isn't a prob

Mine wear toasties, the socks with grips on them and we have wooden floors (but I always buy the proper ones cos I have found the ones off the market don't grip very well) and they are lovely and warm, in fact I have some too.

gingernut · 24/08/2005 20:06

Toasties here too - got them in Boots (lots of hard flooring in our house).

ds refuses to wear slippers for some reason.

Bozza · 24/08/2005 20:09

We do slippers here but are still on bare feet atm - or if DD gets her way her shoes but then that causes her to go and stand by the door like a puppy.

Nemo1977 · 24/08/2005 20:10

ds uses either slipper socks or slippers. he loves his starchild slippers which are soft leather and as soft as socks but with thicker sole.

Really expensive french felt hard soled slippers
Bloody £19 a go BUT dd has exquisitely TINY feet and needs fitted ones - even bobux and the like slide off her toes.
Thank the lord her feet are slow growing
