It does, honestly.One side is a chalk board, the other a 'white board' - and possibly magnetic, too. the roll goes in the middle and out over the top. the rolls cost £4 and last for ages.
I know because I am bittlery regretting buying an elc easel, 3x the price, cockly and wobbly, and no 'roll' facility.
