Bloody moths - kill 'em!

I am at my wit's end with these horrible little gold-coloured moths that seem to be everywhere, near wardrobes and drawers in our house.

I use Autan moth protection hanging things and also balls but nothing seems to work. Got my DVF cardie out this morning (not worn for a while) and was dismayed to see there were about 6 holes in it.

Am now thinking it just isn't worth having anything nice but presence or otherwise of moths seem a ridiculous basis on which to plan one's wardrobe. And I like having nice things!

If anyone has any good moth protection recos please let me know.

Poor you. We had problems with these last autumn. They're horrible. They didn't get into our clothes but munched at the carpet and caused quite a lot of damage. Had to get the pest control people in and that sorted it.

Zip-lock bags for your precious woolens - I just store these in the wardrobe. Don't laugh, I hear some people keep their cashmere in zip-lock bags in the freezer.

Rentokil moth killer strips seem to work great too and they are odourless (I bought from Amazon). My condolences for the DVF top, I know the pain you must be feeling.
