navy cotton school trousers with elasticated waist (not joggers) - where are they??

I've trailed around half the clothing shops of devon and had no luck. Loads of polyester with teflon in black or grey but no chino style smart navy ccotton trousers.Does anyone know where I can find them - Ds1 is 5 and I worry about zips and buttons as the thought of getting himself stuck is just too horrible!

Is corduroy OK? If so try la redoute - DS2 used to have some from there when he was little.

They may also have non-corduroy. Anyway I put navy boys trousers in the search box for enfants and a few came up (can't link to individual items at la redoute, it is a pain).

He did also have some chino style ones at some point and I think they were chain store but can't remember which.
