I have seen them on Ebay, but don't know anyone that's tried them.

Bran is a buggy addict - she may have seen / used one

bran · 22/08/2005 21:15

No I've never seen one, but now that I have ... It's really light isn't it?

Actually the one that I've just ordered is 2 wheels and I did think that it would be quite good for pulling backwards over rough ground although it would mean that ds would be facing backwards.

I don't think the tug would be that great for pavements and shopping centres as they suggest as the handle is so long that people might walk into it/trip over it when you're not moving. Also, the footrest rests on the ground (or perhaps just very close to the ground), so if your child tends to wave his/her legs around there might be a risk of trapping a foot underneath.

It would be great if you live in a rural environment though.

Is that Mears with the blue skirt? How can you tell, you can barely see her face in the photo?

gingernut · 23/08/2005 19:19

So, is it Mears? I expect cod was looking at the photos you see if you click on `more pictures'.

I used something like this to get dd around the zoo when we were on holiday in amsterdam (they hired them out - prob because most kids arrived on the back of bikes without buggies). I thought it was a brilliant idea. Only down side is there's nowhere to put the shopping...

I wonder if I could justify buying one with dd just gone two - or should I just sign off and go to my 'buggy addicts anonymous' meeting...

zippy539 · 29/08/2005 21:34

Still looking for Mears - is she in the additional photos section - all the pics are taking ages to load on my computer.

mears · 30/08/2005 11:18

LOL cod

I can see the similarity but my hair isn't as well groomed and she hasn't got my 'rosy' cheeks
