bobike do front mounted and rear mounted ones. they are really strong and my dd feels like a princess when she's in hers. don't forget the helmet! bobike are dutch - bought mine from an e-bay shop. search and find....

I have used the co pilot seat on my bike for all 3 of my children, and I think they are great, very comfy, easy to fit, strong (ds1 dropped the bike with ds2 in his seat the other day and not a scratch). They are a bit more expensive, but in my opion well worth every penny.Unless you are cycling for days at a time I don't think you need the recline facility, although that is the one I have. I would also recommend MET helmets, they are very adjustable and fit extremely well.

meggymoo,Have a look at the MET helmets, they come in great colours/patterns and both my 2 and 10 yr old are wearing the same size (although dd does have a small head).dd has had hers since she was 4.
