Tired of Avent

Is it just me, or do Avent bottles (when new) leak even when they are screwed on tights as anything?

We are hoping to get 19mo off bottles v soon but have number two on the way. I'll bf but I want him to be able to take breastmilk from a bottle early doors to avoid problem we had with ds where he wouldn't take anything but boob for 7 months.

Feels like a good time to ditch the leaking Avents and try a whole new bottle, for dc2. Any recommendations, from birth?

Thanks if you can help.

I think you can sort of "get them wrong" and if you do, no amount of tightening will help you.

I find putting them flat on the table when tightening helps, as does turning them anticlockwise to "line them up" before turning clockwise to tighten

PS You'll probably get more replies on the "Breast and bottlefeeding" thread

If you over tighten them, they will leak. If they're 19mo then they're probably ready for the bin anyway.

Mam are supposed to be good.
