We are going on holiday in 3 weeks and suddenly thought of armbands.
DD will be 14 month whilst we are there and shall has an inflatable seat but wondered if she should have armbands for the sea?
Can you even get armbands that small?

You can get armbands from ages 1 to 2 years, 2 to 4 years etc... and i think they'd be agreat idea, just to give that extra degree of safety and peace of mind for you.
Have a great holiday!

I had armbands for dd from 4 months - got them at local swimming pool but have seen them other places like boots (as previously mentioned) and mothercare. However, stopped using them when she was about 15 months as managed to pick up a secondhand polyotter swimming costume with polystyrene floats which you can put in or take out of the actual costume itself - this was MUCH better as she has the freedom to move her arms and I am not getting scratched by the sharp plastic armband seams. Incidentally, at 19 months she has learnt to 'swim' on her own since having this new system (obviously she still has the floats)and once she has grown out of this costume I am going to get a strap on back float thing and will definitely try to do the same with no 2 due very soon. Happy swimming!

I've got some baby armbands - just rediscovered them when having a clearout of outgrown things - to sell which you can have if you want them. CAT me if you're interested.

they sell them in ELC too.
We left ours at home this year - oops. but bought some in the local supermarket in Italy so they should be easily available
