Just thought I'd like to share with you some superb customer service I have just received from Ocado. Admittedly, it was not until I had written to the Chief Executive that I got a reply, but still..... I bought some fillet of beef for a special luncheon and cooked it strictly according to instructions. To my dismay, it came out well overdone and very tough. I had to serve it to my starving guests but was quite mortified at its quality. On writing to the CEO, by return of email I was offered, not only a refund but a £20 voucher against future purchases. No quibbles. I really did want to know WHY the meat was so bad and they are looking into this. If only all retailers could treat their customers in this way shopping might once again become a pleasure. Anybody else had a similar experience or have they all been bad?
