How can I have sex with my colleague

NC for privacy...

7 of us (all women) from the office went for drinks over the weekend and ended up all having a fair few glasses of wine. The rest of the girls have been at the company longer than me and were telling me stories about a younger guy in the office who used to sleep with a woman (who's now left) IN THE OFFICE outside of hours.

I'm single after coming out of a long term relationship 6 months ago and my colleagues know this. So the conversation got a bit naughty and they were saying how I could totally sleep with him as they think he's into me.

Not going to lie... I would LOVE to. He's hot, everyone knows it and I miss sex. I haven't had sex in 9 months and I need it. I'm constantly horny at work and need some excitement in my life.

I'm 47, he's 28 but the woman he used to sleep with was 39 and he must've been about 25 at the time. So he's definitely not afraid of an older woman. We've flirted in the past but I never took it seriously as he's honestly just a super attractive young guy, I didn't think he'd be into me at all. But now I know he's a bit of a player it turns me on and gets my mind wondering.

Do you think I should try to shag him in the office? The setup at work makes it sooo easy for us to stay late into the evening without worrying about ever getting caught.

I had a few days off but I'm back at work later this morning and I've been non stop fantasising about what could happen.

Has anyone ever slept with someone at work, if so got any tips haha!

No. Just no.

Outnumbered89 · 14/10/2026 09:30

This scenario is all in your head. Just because the male colleague has slept with a colleague in the past, doesn’t automatically mean he’d want to sleep with you. You have no idea of his dating history or current relationship status.

maybe join a dating app and don’t make things uncomfortable for yourself at work.

No, Because too many people know about it already, (your mates)
No, They will tell everybody
No, So much easier to plant a camera than it was even 2 years ago, you could become a star feature.

This has to be fake, surely.

fizz101 · 14/10/2026 10:22

I am embarrassed for you. You are fantasising over someone you are nearly 20 years older than who you work with.

Ofcourse it is.

Has he expressed any interest in you? What do you mean by should I shag him- as if he is some object available for sale?

Smithey588 · 14/10/2026 19:58

’Shag’ gave it away for me.

100% troll

Scotflyer54 · 14/10/2026 21:32

Make it a fantasy and find someone else OP

getupdostuffgotobed · 14/10/2026 21:59

It'll end in tears.

Re-write the post, same ages but swap the sexes over. How does it read now?

GentlemanJay · 14/10/2026 23:15

This should be in the “stories and fantasies” section. Lol.

OMGDidYouSayThat · 15/10/2026 00:21

The only thing i’m going to say is be careful you don’t catch something and as you said, he’s a player which most likely means he’s an attractive dickhead, so be prepared to get hurt if you’re expecting it to be more than a casual encounter.

This imagine if a 47yo man thought he could automatically sleep with a hot 28yo colleague because she previously shagged another colleague, so “obviously” she would be up for it with him. Grim.

Maybe, but you have to remember that many MNers apparently think that what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander.

I didn’t condone it?

Who’s is why my first word was “this”—as is often the case when someone quotes another poster on MN.

Apologies, I misread.
