Clitoris doesn't seem to "work".

I've never had an orgasm during sex, my clitoris is either way too sensitive, ie painful to the touch or not sensitive enough. I've just got a new mini vibrator that is very powerful but have tried using it on myself and it's very uncomfortable. Even trying the shower spray on there is painful, what's wrong with me, does anyone else have this problem? Touching the clitoris doesn't do anything for me.

What has worked when you have had an orgasm in the past?

Maybe read/ fantasise a while before you start touching to get in the mood, use a little lube and try to build up a bit slower before using your toys.

Try switching to a suction type toy if a vibe isn't your thing. The buzz of a vibe doesn't suit everyone.

If you find it too much, maybe try using the vibe through a layer of clothing or on the area near, but not directly on your clit. Try moving it around rather than keeping it on your clit continously. Another option is to put the vibe on the bed and lay on your front so you can push/ thrust against it and vary the position/ intensity that way.

A wand vibrator through clothes. They can be very powerful but have a large surface area so won't be direct or sharp on your clit. And through underwear or thin clothes you can experience the vibrations without it feeling too much.
