Vaginal Orgasms

I have never had a vaginal orgasm without clitoral stimulation, but recently I purchased a dildo, it was a thicker one, not anything huge, but definitely thicker, I decided to try it and had an orgasm by using the dildo alone. I’m not sure if it’s fluke, as it’s new, or whether the added thickness added to the fullness which helped me achieve a vaginal orgasm.
Has anyone else found it only possible to orgasm with a thicker dildo/penis?
I will try it again, but I’m not sure if it was the newness of a dildo, as I’ve never used one before, or if it was the extra fullness that reached that magical spot.

Could be fullness or could be angle or could be length. Depends on orgasm. G spot, cervical or friction.

During sex to achieve vaginal orgasm I need a larger penis, but I can also orgasm from being fingered. It's a precise position with his hooked fingers on my G spot.

Im the same, I can have a G spot orgasm with a dildo but not through PIV. DP is well endowed so that’s not the problem, but don’t know how to get the same feeling from him!

I definitely think it's to do with angles. My wife always used to orgasm from clit stimulation and she knew exactly how to do it with me, usually with her on top. But one day we were doing reverse missionary to mix things up and I just moved up a little and changed the angle as I went in and she suddenly froze and told me really aggressively not to move. She'd clenched on to me tightly and was just making tiny movements and shaking almost uncontrollably and had the most intense orgasm ever. I'm guessing that I hit her G spot perfectly.

Unfortunately, we never managed to get it that good again, but she could still manage perfectly satisfactory orgasms by her favourite method.

I don’t think it’s size tbh. My DP is around the same size as most men I’ve known but he’s the only one I’ve ever had vaginal orgasms with. He also makes me orgasm through kissing and nipple play alone, before he even goes down on me or even touches me, so for me I think it’s more of a person-specific type of arousal rather than the mechanics of it.

He is always very hard and erect, so it may be the angle, but it’s also the emotional connection as we’re both very intensely ‘in the moment’ and have lots of slow PIV sex, whereas my ex didn’t seem to enjoy that (he always said I was too wet and he couldn’t feel anything). My current partner is on a hair trigger the whole time and I only have to look at him a certain way for it to happen, which adds to the frisson - knowing how much he’s enjoying it is a massive turn on.

Plus when I was younger there was always a risk of pregnancy, but now I can fully relax into it, which may help.
