Too wet

Noticing more and more that I’m not enjoying sex as I’m just too wet. I do have a cloth nearby to ‘dry off’ a bit but it’s ridiculous. I’m on HRT (not using pessarys as worried will make it worse) any helpful tips? DH does usually spend time giving me oral every time we do have sex but even if he skips it I’m still soaking.

I hate this too! Before HRT I was too dry and the hot sweats etc. I have found less foreplay obviously makes this less of an issue but that comes with it's own issues! Hopefully someone will post the answer for us both :-)

Is there such a thing as too wet, has DH said anything. Would think that he would love it

Do you get just as wet solo? Have you tried doing that first to see if less wet during sex

Not a definitive answer but might help if you find it too wet....I've found time of day makes a difference. Early morning seems to be slightly silkier and thicker. Have you experimented with first thing, rather than last thing at night?

Can you spend less time on foreplay?

I've been on HRT for a lot of years, and it's a side effect for me. I don't see it as a problem though - my partner and I love it.🤷‍♀️

The wetter the better...
Is the problem the mess, or the fact that the wetter it is the less you feel?

Might get flamed for this but....there's something delicious about both. If the aim is just to finish off all done and dusted, neat and tidy then that's no fun for me. Is there a better problem to have than having to 'fight' through the 'mess' (as you called it) to feel like you're in heaven?

I agree with you i love all of it, like i say, the wetter the better.

she gets so wet we use towels but the sheets are still soaked, we might need to invest in some of those rubber ones.
sex standing up is no go as she literally dips on the floor and I get squirted in the face during oral- friction ( lack off) can be an issue sometimes

but certainly agree with the poster above the mornings are less wet

it’s soft blanket, like a fleece on one side. No crinkly noises, doesn’t feel stiff or plasticky and absolutely nothing goes through.
Since I’ve been squirting (only recent years, post-divorce) this has been a game changer. Can really relaxing now
