Sex with a new partner - pain/tearing sensation upon entering, still sore after

Not sure why this has happened. I was genuinely very relaxed and aroused, we did loads of foreplay and there was sufficient moisture (sorry tmi!), but when he entered it all felt very tight and I could feel a sort of stinging feeling. Now, the day after, it's very sore, and when I look, the opening looks quite red and is sore to touch. Bit worried.

Can you get some vagisil cream and you might want to try some lube cream in future, you may have been lubicated in naturally in one area, but not all (that’s what happens with me), or could just be that something irritated you, did you use condoms, maybe use sensitive ones.

Maybe he is bigger in size than what you are usually used to?

I think this can occur quite often with new partners who have not gotten used to each other. As above use extra lube and try different positions as soon as you feel any discomfort. Did you ask him if he was sore afterwards?

Are you post-menopausal, OP?

Unfortunately natural lubrication can reduce with age & the skin around the vulva/vagina becomes more fragile. Vaginal oestrogen can help.
