Just recently got together with a longstanding male friend with a view to mutually satisfying sex. I hadn't seen his penis beforehand. It is tiny. Now I dont feel I can tell.him that, but I dont see how it will work. There also seem to be issues for him with soreness at the tip, and possible pain on penetration. Is there a path forwards with this?

No. If you want no strings sex you can find someone with a decent working dick. Having to tiptoe around his lack of size and soreness isn’t what you need from a FWB

I'd find it tough to disagree with this. Its a really horrible thing that genetics does to some men, and I feel like a horrible person for saying it, but its true. Neither issue is going to resolve. Its sad but true.

A slightly “left field” answer might be:
you’re not limited to one fwb; keep him but tell him there will be others.
would a “cuckold” type arrangement turn you on? Would it turn him on?
You get your satisfaction, he gets a kick out of it too perhaps.
If none of that interests you, you may have to just be honest or creative and end the fwb side of your relationship.

Surely, a FWB setup's main point would be the 'benefits' part. Or at least one of the main component. So if that is not working, it is not working. The decent thing is to not force it, no point, really.
