Nice sexclubs/swingers clubs/nights etc etc

Hello,

My husband and I often talk on and off about going to a sex club or swingers together, but neither of us has ever bit the bullet and said 'right lets do it!'. It came up again in conversation recently and so I've been having a look online again trying to find something suitable. In my head I'm imagining nice bars, leather sofas and 4 poster beds but im not sure if they're more boring breeze block walls and waterproof blue mattresses?! Are there particular websites to find your vibe?

Also not sure on the terminology, we're not after just us and one other couple in a bedroom but something involving more mingling and chatting and flirting and maybe watching, do those places exist and are there any in mid or north Wales?! We're in our 40's, if that's relevant! I always come across Liberty Elite in Lutterworth, but its a bit far out. Anyone been there?

yes, these sorts of places with relaxed social areas do exist, and in fact it’s a “selling point” these days as many of us want social fun connections with people who enjoy the lifestyle, irrespective of whether we “play together” or not.
Fabswingers is an obvious place to begin to make connections, and look at reviews of clubs or events in any region.
Keep your settings tight to start with and have a look around the site.
As for actual clubs; just think relaxed social meet in a nice place (mostly!) with like minded folk. Don’t expect too much first few times out, and focus perhaps on enjoying each other in a new place ( which surely is a turn on in itself) 😉
My no1 piece of advice? Do not rely on “Dutch courage” ever…..always go at your own pace and anything you missed this time round, you can always try next time.

DH and I have been to quite a few of these, the closest to you would be Chameleons (near Wolverhampton); no four poster beds I'm afraid but lots of opportunities to mingle and watch, and an incredibly friendly place. I felt fine as a newbie. There's a different atmosphere at a swinging environment - it's like a layer of British reserve is stripped away and people are easier to talk to. Sometimes there can be an issue of pushy single guys but if you find somewhere with a mainly couples night that won't happen.

There are no decent clubs in Wales so you will have to travel I'm afraid. Chameleons is a lovely club in Walsall but it's dress down on arrival and only couples only on Saturday nights. It's not as plush as some clubs like Liberty elite but is a big club with many interesting rooms. It's also quite busy and often full on later which may or may not be what you want. Townhouse in Birkenhead is also a lovely club and not too far.

Fab swingers has club reviews but the nicest we have been to are Liberty elite, Townhouse, Chameleon, Vanilla Alternative and Purple Mamba. Some of the others are rather shabby

The one thing swingers do more than have sex , is talk about having sex.

Before we tried swinging, our marriage was pretty standard, lots of assumptions and guarded conversations. Jump to 2025 and our sex life is so much better you wouldn't think we have been together 18 years. Without bragging, we have sex about four times a week, averaging three PIV orgasms per session. The social and accepted narrative is sex must fade in longterm marriages and you just have to accept it. The younger generations are voting with their feet and refusing emotionally and physically unfulfilling relationships. Despite the tutting from older generations they are curious and seeking to explore. This is good for their sexual health and wellbeing.

Is swinging for everyone? Nope, absolutely not.

Vanilla Alternative and Liberty Elite are the “classiest” I’ve tried. Visiting Purple Mamba in Feb. I have high hopes for that one.

My experiences in clubs are fun ones. They're definitely a place to go if you're curious. Very welcoming.

Ooh I’ve just googled Liberty Elite that looks fun. Me and my OH have talked about this but I’m not overly confident and we are mid 40’s so would feel uncomfortable if most people are gorgeous and in their 20’s?….

No need to be overly concerned because the typical age range that attends swingers clubs will be 30 to 50 years. The spaces are very welcoming so pick a theme night that interests you and go forth and explore😀

Liberty elite is one of the classiest clubs in the country. It has private rooms upstairs but we love the main orgy / spa room. There's a huge elevated warm jacuzzi and beds around the side with a huge bed in the middle. Extremely sensual and sexy place.

We are both in our late 40s and feel very relaxed there.
