STI testing

Have tried googling this today and it’s an absolute minefield! I am embarking on a new relationship, I have no reason to think that I have an STI as have never taken risks but would like to get a clean bill of health. It seems really complicated to get this- so many different tests as I can’t find one that covers everything.

What have others done?

Should link you to a local service and you might be able to have access to a postal at home option instead of going to a clinic.
You just have to put in some details about sexual history and if you have any symptoms of anything. My postal one came within 48hrs and they email the results.

If you've had unprotected sex it's always worth being tested regardless if there's symptoms or not. A GUM clinic will also do blood tests for HIV. Swab tests in other places may only test for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
