Caught Masturbating

Just wondering if or how often married couples or couples living together catch each masturbating, or if it always hidden and kept a secret.

I have caught my husband a few times over the years, usually in the shower and he's walked in on my a couple of times but not for quite a while now. Except last weekend when he caught me using a sex toy (I though he was outside in the garden and he managed to sneak in!). He thought it was great and I was just a bit embarrassed as it hasn't happened for a while.

Yeah, my wife and I are fairly open about this stuff. Masturbation (mutual, or taking care of ourselves while next to each other) features heavily in our sex life.

I don’t think I’ve specifically been “caught” in a private moment or at least she hasn’t said it to me. I honestly don’t think it would bother her in the slightest.

I’ve definitely kinda caught her unawares though, I know she’s done it in bed once or twice when she thinks I’ve been asleep. And I know she’s dipped into internet porn occasionally while home alone (she hadn’t bothered clearing history on a shared iPad). I definitely find it a turn on and probably a good thing that she does it now and again.

I think its a lovely idea, as a fantasy but we've been together so long now that we really don't have any sexual barriers and are quite open about masturbation.

As above I’m often aware when he is and would leave him to it (shower). Sometimes when he thinks I’m asleep. I occasionally join in but I also find it quite peaceful to just lie next to him pretending to sleep.

I would mostly only do it when he’s out or away.

We never catch each other because we’re very open about it.

I often tell him if I’ve done it or not as it turns him on. And if he’s at work - I send him photo/video evidence. He loves it 😁

She doesn't masturbate often its usually in the bath, or in bed. Mostly in the bath. She's admitted to thinking about an ex when masturbating. Not ideal but honest, I suppose.

I can't recall ever catching or being caught to be honest but I pick my times to avoid this (early morning or when home alone for a known amount of time, depending on the type of masturbating I'll be doing).

I've caught my hubby a few times, usually when I've been out and he's been watching porn at the computer, but I don't mind and just let him finish what he is doing.

I masturbate most days now but it's normally when he is not at home so I don't get caught. Sometimes I'll do it in the shower or bath but the bathroom door is locked.

A couple of times I’ve been caught. When it’s happened - and there’s no real embarrassment on either persons part- I think part of me feels disappointed it doesn’t get a better reaction or lead on to some shared fun.
I’ve never caught my wife masturbating and she’s said before that she doesn’t really, which again does make me feel a bit sad.

Lol that takes me back. I'm mid 40s and this was an urban legend going around when I was a teenager!

Variations include wearing headphones with music playing and not hearing anyone come in, and/or wearing a blindfold to block out any outside distractions 🤣

This is probably as much of a warning as anything else. I recently downloaded a sleep app. The sort of thing that measures your sleep patterns. It also records snoring and talking in your sleep. It records heavy breathing and moans and groans too. Now I know what happened at 3am on Sunday night 😈.
I've now deleted the app. Sweet dreams everyone.
