My partner recently told me what a turn on he finds face sitting, we’ve tried briefly but I just can’t seem to get myself in the right position to orgasm.

If you face the headboard and you straddle him above his shoulders, if you lean forward a bit, he should be able to reach. If you're facing his ... err ... facing his feet, tuck your calves under his arms.
