Help with womaniser type clitoral stimulators for clitoral atrophy

SexualHealing1 · 14/06/2025 07:08

I need one of these devices as it’s been recommended for clitoral atrophy which is now preventing me from having an orgasm which is frankly devastating. So I am trying everything I can see recommended ) Including awaiting a gynae referral).

The choice is however overwhelming! And I have questions.

Do they all work in the same way? I want something that “sucks” to encourage as much blood flow as possible. Some of them refer to a sucking sensation in the marketing blurb and others don’t but not sure if they are all just variants on the same thing.

Im leaning to an actual womaniser as the cheaper ones seem to have very mixed reviews on reliability and frankly I just don’t want the faff of it stopping working. But the choice even on that one website is massively overwhelming and it’s very hard to tell the difference between them.

I want something that I can use lying down comfortably. The ones that look more pebble shaped don’t look comfortable to use? Not sure if I am wrong there.

Any recommendations or anything else I should be looking for or avoiding?

Happy to splash the cash if it’s worth doing so - but invisibly if I can pay less and it’ll do the job then I’ll do that. Just don’t know what I am looking at/for!

🙏

I have a clit suction stimulator from love honey. Recommend it for couple play and solo 😊

OP, I’m sorry to hear that you have this but hats off to you, you are doing something positive about it.

l have no experience of clitoral atrophy, but l wonder if a clitoral pump would help as a different approach? I had one for a bit of fun. I don’t think it would make any permanent changes but perhaps a useful aid prior to stimulation?

I have no experience of clitoral atrophy but my experience with the suction toys is mixed. They can give amazing orgasms but I found them hit and miss. When using a vibrator I like to move it around, take it away when it feels too much until I'm ready to orgasm. With the suction toys you basically have to hold it in place and just sit there which I found hard to do. I have quite a tucked away clit so it was probably down to this. When you get wet using it, it slips off and you then have to find the sweet spot again. When I did manage to orgasm with it though, it was mind blowing. I gave up on them and went back to my wand because it's reliable and consistent.

Well it’s pretty devastating which is quite a driving force in taking some action! But thank you for your kind words.

I haven’t heard of clitoral pumps before so thank you for that. That sounds like a good idea for increasing blood flow. Would you recommend the one you have?

Am feeling very overwhelmed by the choice!

To be honest I’m not too worried about amazing orgasms. Any orgasm would be good but the main thing I want it to do is to increase blood flow to the clitoris which should help reverse some of the atrophy. The clitoral suction toys are specifically recommended for this.

Any vibrator will bring blood flow to your clitoris. If it's the specific "sucking" feeling you're after, it doesnt really feel like that in my opinion. On the lower settings more of a popping sensation and the higher it's a vibration.

OP, the pump l have, just bought for a bit of fun, came from a shop in France. I can’t find an identical model on line now, but it’s quite old and no brand name showing. It’s nothing technical, you pump by hand, but there are similar on Lovehoney, Harmony, Ann Summers etc.

With your determination l think you will crack this. ❤️

I have a Dominix clit pump, I got it from Lovehoney. It’s good but quite clunky compared to the most recent versions.

I did a little research after reading your post and found this Lelo serum gets good reviews:https://pinklifestyle.com/blogs/general/lelo-pleasure-enhancing-serum-review?srsltid=AfmBOoq6k993NF91l3OS-G1Ka5FU_UNJyBYViutObWMp7TsvyD2HGfTU

My most recent Womanizer purchase is the Duo and it’s fantastic, although it has g spot stimulation for a blended sensation. I would also recommend the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise as a standalone clitoral stimulator.

Best of luck with stopping the atrophy. I hope you’re receiving compassionate gynae treatment too x

Which one do you have?

Write it into love honey little purple one. Think £40. At the start I was unsure about it, but I have it a chance 😂 thankfully I did!!

Orgasmicreaction · 15/06/2025 00:06

This one is my very favourite. Simple up or down power buttons. This is my second one as I couldn't find anything to touch it in terms of clitoral stimulation . Love Honey Romp
I hope you find something that suits you

Orgasmicreaction · 15/06/2025 09:41

My above post is just a link to the Romp on Love Honey.

I’ve got this one too. It’s quite good!

I got my partner a womaniser Pro ;recommended on this site) as she likes the sucking type ( not cheap), it also has a smallish vibration part that goes in her
the suction part is not that strong really if you put your thumb over it, but does have different levels of suction and vibration and different types of vibration

it gets her to orgasm very quickly

Sunshineandswimming · 18/06/2025 10:05

I'm sorry that you have this @SexualHealing1
Can I ask if you're using vaginal oestrogen cream that the GP can prescribe? It comes with an applicator for inserting the cream into the vagina (for vaginal atrophy) but many specialists recommend also applying some to the clitoris as well. If you're on Instagram, have a look at Dr Kelly Casperson, Dr Rena Mallik & Dr Mary Claire Haver.

In terms of toys, have you looked at the Jenny Keane website - Oh Moment? I think if you were to message the team, they would be able to advise about the best toy for this.

Good luck, I hope that you find a solution.

PinotPony · 22/06/2025 21:34

I’ve got the Womaniser Pro, which is great for clitoral orgasms. As a PP said, my understanding is that any stimulation will increase blood flow.

Vaginal oestrogen is recommended for clitoral atrophy. I also found that testosterone gel increased the size of my clitoris during menopause.
