Dry orgasm after prostate cancer

Just started seeing someone who had prostate cancer a few years back, resulting in prostate removal. He said it all works fine still, but he “dry fires”/ has dry orgasms. He’s fine with that but what will it feel like for me? Has anyone had experience of this? What do I need to know?

Poor guy.

I would imagine you wouldn’t feel any different, there’ll just be less mess.

You will notice little/ no difference, but the man will notice not being dead 🤷🏻

Why poor guy? I suspect he's pretty happy to be alive, and still being able to cum is surely a bonus.

I have dry orgasms due to retrograde ejaculation. It’s feels both the same for me and any partner I’ve had just minus the mess and risk of unplanned pregnancies.

at least he survived and it sounds as if he didn’t get ED which is exceptionally common after prostate removal so the dry orgasms will be the least of his worries.

Thanks all. To be clear, I just wanted to prepare myself so I could understand and be supportive of him. The fact he survived is obviously what matters most, everything else is a bonus.
