It's perfectly fine to have your own preferences and boundaries with sex, as with everything else in life. But I'm sure nobody here needs me to tell them that.

When I was very young, I'd been taught about sex, and it seemed very yeucky and disgusting. Surely if people really cared about each other they could do nice things, like give each other boxes of chocolates. Not nasty things with their toilet parts! I wanted a rich and handsome man when I grew up, but I imagined that we'd have separate bedrooms, just to make sure that sort of thing didn't rear its ugly head. Once adolescence got underway I started having more adult thoughts. Having read women's magazine problem pages avidly, I had more than enough material from which to compile fantasies, and oral sex featured prominently, more so than intercourse itself. This was carried through into practice once I was an adult.

So what I'm saying is that I can easily imagine what it's like to find it offputting, but have also had the experience of going through some quite surprising shifts in my own desires, so that now it's highly enjoyable.

DH does it to me much more than I do it to him, but I don't dislike it, it just doesn't really turn me on. He loves it so I like doing it for him, basically.

I don't find it at all degrading but I do think when a man wants to come on your face, that's porny and for me that crosses a line I'm not happy with.

My partner is indifferent to BJ she will focus on what I like and I like to reciprocate for her.

Recently I bought some coconut flavoured oral sex balm this has significantly improved her experience and seemingly took away some issues with taste which has in turn improved my experience.

I also tried the balm and while it gives lubrication it did take away the taste which for me reduced my enjoyment and I haven’t used it since.

It’s not! I know it’s personal preference, but I love it.

The one we use is Bijoux Indiscrets Oral sex balm it’s very coconutty in my opinion partner really likes it. I think coconut nut oil also works but not tried.
