After I have sex with my partner, a few seconds after it feels wet and sticky between my legs. Is this normal?

If so, how do other ladies manage this? Do you lie there afterwards and feel wet & sticky there, or do you go to the bathroom and have a quick wash?

Also, why is this never shown in films? In films, the couple are often both relaxed and cuddling after sex, and the woman doesn't make a quick trip to the bathroom before getting back into bed. This is why I wonder if I am normal, and if it happens to all women?
