I am experiencing a massive shift in hormones and I'm as horny as hell.

Continually in a state of arousal. I am thinking about sex 24/7. Even my imagination is in overdrive too!

I've just had to order a bullet to see if that helps.

I cannot believe how I feel.

How do people cope with this at work? I'm imagining all sorts of scenarios at work!

Are you in your thirties? It’s very normal to have a surge around that time. There’s loads of women on social media experiencing the same thing.

I had a huge surge as I approached 40. Just keep yourself distracted while at work, and save the energy for your playtime when you get home

i was like this about 18mth ago and i think it was due to hrt. Not that i was complaining but i developed a tremendous crush on a man - it was awful - i felt the attraction right through me and i was standing talking to him. this went on for months but has now died down. My imagination was running away with me.
I wonder if you should have hormone levels checked with blood tests.
Just don't do anything rash as with the right ' treatment' meds or therapy or something- you will come down to earth.

With GPs under such immense pressure atm/for years I'm really not sure women or men should be making appointments because they feel horny 😂

If you want your hormones checked at least go private!!

Thanks @Fionuala I am sensible and quite level headed so I won't be getting into too much trouble apart from my own imagination.

It's good to hear people's experiences though. Most people say their libido has diminished due to hormones and it's only on Mumsnet that I've read that others now have a high libido as I do.

I'd like a happy medium ideally!

Yes. It's unreal! I'd only heard of people saying their libido had left the country in perimenopause. Thanks to MumsNet there are people saying theirs had increased as mine has. I hadn't heard that prior.

lol it hasn’t my libido has been going strong for 3 years now, dh loves it. We had a good sex life before hand but now it’s next level 😂 I’m making the most of it now in case it disappears when I’m past it lol
