I find, unless you are prepared to pay for quality, using an app drains the battery too quickly to be effective!

Lush is the best app based product but they’re not cheap. You get what you pay for. I used it in Florida whilst DP was controlling it in the UK.

Lovense apear to be a market leader although I don’t own any yet so can’t comment on functionality.

They currently have their dolce (G&C) vibe that can be long and short distanced controled for £99.

They also have reciprocal toy pairs so the action of one drives the action of the other which is really interesting!

As above I’ve been burnt with cheap app toys as had a good one but they discontinued the app in the App Store which left no distance play and limited functionality on the device.

Would think lower £100 would be pushing it .

You’re not likely to get anything under £100 if you want reasonably priced and good quality. Unless you use Amazon. I’d have no idea on the quality of the stuff from Amazon.
