Erotica - recommendations

I’ve recently realised I’d like to read some well written (so probably not literotica as it’s the occasional hit but mostly misses in terms of writing) erotica.

could anyone make some recommendations please?

Not so much read but listen to erotica. I have a subscription to bloom did have shorter stories with some asmr covering most aspects of sex. It’s aimed particularly at women and couples.

It recently though has added full books on the same £5 a month subscription. Also has chat bot features and the ability to sync some toys.

Ive enjoyed it so far. There is also dipsea but I’ve not tried that.

I used to like Dipsea but went off it. It's not realistic. It was ok when on offer but not worth full price. I can't get into anything on Literotica, too cringe and a lot of it gross. There's a few authors I like but recently I can't really get into them. They're all samey.

Many years ago there was an erotic book shop in Westgate street Gloucester. As well as stocking traditional books they had a good selection of Victorian Erotic books. I bought several erotic books which my wife enjoyed reading. How ever she always maintained the best book to turn her on was Desmond Morris’s book the Naked Ape the read the chapter on sex 🤪.

Anais Nin's erotica is literary, also The Story of O, Catherine M's books (sexual life & also Jealousy if you can get hold of it), My secret garden, Sonnet's book about submission...

Why isn't that surprising?! 😊

@KRD5 Thank you for the reminder about Anais Nin, Not read in a while. I need to look up the others, I hope they are of similar standard to Anis Nin.
@BadCoffee I used to get disappointed with ordinary stories so started wring my own, just episodes or a seduction, not a longer story yet! Have you tried writing?

I started by writing up a true event with a BF. I magnified it and added detail. I was slimmer and had longer legs and he had more muscles under his white tee shirt.

As above it’s worth a try. I began listening to bloom on the commute to work (in my car) and then after the last erotica thread on here decided to have a go after never considering I could.

Started off with role play/scripts and progressed to short stories.
id not done any creative writing since school. It’s my new unicorn space activity and it’s been both surprising and fun.
