New swinger experiences

Hi, I would be interested to hear about anyone's first time experiences of swinging. My wife and I are talking about giving it a try, we are both in our sixties, still in good shape and enjoy our sex life, but would like to spice things up a bit.
I have read many pros and cons once in the scene and, as I say, we are still just talking about it however, assuming we take the plunge, what sort of experiences might we encounter? I'm sure it's very nerve wracking to begin with, what was your first time like? Good and bad, I'm not just looking for positive affirmations.

If you have decided to engage in swinging you must have already reached a level of sexual awareness. Likewise those who you will meet in such gatherings would have already reached that level of awareness. I say that to say that you will fine that it isn't as nerve wracking as you may thing. I would suggest that you start with an online forum and touch base with swingers in your area if possible. There are a few. It is not a swingers forum but I have met many swingers on iBone Social who are open to welcoming newbies into the fold so to speak. Good luck.

Set some boundaries for the first instance. I have heard about people who have thrown these out of the window straight away. Lol.

Depends on the meet you have, if it’s all couples then it can be nice, but a club is a different story obviously. He got a little hung up about me getting more attention so be prepared x

Yes, I don't particularly like the sound of clubs, I'm sure some of them are ok. At a party once, quite a few years ago, my wife was getting a bit flirty with another guy and I found watching them quite a turn on. How I would react if it went further, I don't know. That's all part of the trying it out process.

We have been in the lifestyle for four years. We have been to a couple of clubs now and they all have couples and single females nights. They are much better than general nights as there is not creepy single guys hanging about. We find clubs better as they are on neutral ground.

That's great, thanks. I suspect we would need to go to a fairly large town, in order to find a club which offers that sort of choice, which sounds much more appealing. We are in rural Herefordshire, can you tell me which town/city you found these clubs in and was there a reasonable age range there?

We've been dabbling over the last year. Have chatted to various people on Tinder (being upfront about what we were looking for), Feeld and FabSwingers. There's also We Are X and probably more. Have met a couple of people socially via Feeld, haven't arranged anything further. We both get a bit frustrated with the admin side of it! We don't live together and we're not really keen on losing precious time together trying to meet up with other people. So we like clubs. Which imo you have to go to with an attitude of just going to have some fun with your partner and then seeing what happens.
