Long story short I'm a man and still a virgin in my late 30's . I'm on a dating app and thinking of meeting with someone. Do I need to Tell them in advance I'm a virgin? I'm not expecting anything to happen for a few dates. Have had other times when I have been chatting with girls and once I tell them they usually run a mile!!

Ok, OP: don't say anything about it. Have sex and enjoy losing your virginity. Don't mention until after you are married and first child born.

@Weetom are you looking for a relationship or a hookup? I think in your 30s there will be women of a similar age looking for marriage/kids etc. happy to take it slow and get to know you first. I think in that situation I would want to know beforehand that it was your first time as it would be very special for both of us. I'd hate to be told as an afterthought afterwards!!

However if you're just looking for a hookup then best not to mention.

It's not a lie though. You don't normally go into your whole sexual history anyway on the first couple of dates. Just get to know each other a bit. It's not something to be ashamed of.
