Nude beach

I’ve lost a bit of weight recently (which may or may not have anything to do with anything), and DP has become almost obsessed with the idea of a nude beach, continually going on about wanting to see me parading around on one, and also to be topless at a hotel poolside with a minuscule thong.

I’m flattered mostly but wondering what his mentality is. He isn’t suggesting swinging or anything like that, just that he is loving the idea of me being nude in front of a crowd and says since we’re on holiday we will never see any of them again so what’s the concern.

Is this weird or concerning or should I just go with flattery?

I don't think it's concerning. I like the thought of my wife being comfortable enough in her own body to go topless or even fully nude. He's obviously very proud of you, nothing wrong with wanting to show you off a bit.

Agree with this. It’s so sexy for a man to see his OH being body confident. He almost certainly juts really proud of you.

Why don't you tell him you want to see him parading round in a thong OP? See how keen he is. I wouldn't be flattered at all personally, I'm not a trophy for my OH to decide he wants to flaunt. Grim.

Thanks @Beth216 I know the point others will make around “it’s just bodies” and all that but he’s making no secret of the fact it’s a turn on for him. I did sunbathe topless back in the day (for no one other than myself and not to do with flaunting myself at all) but he is clearly not doing it out of a “no big deal it’s just flesh and everyone else will be doing it” mentality.

I would like to think flattery and that he’s proud to show you off and that he obviously thinks you’re beautiful.

I would love to see my wife on a nudist beach for similar reasons to be honest.

Earlier this year I found myself on a hot med beach with my dh, without kids, without commitments, and decided to sunbathe top less for the first time! Dh was very cool about it (I suspect he actually had a massive hard-on but wanted to appear respectful!) he told me I looked beautiful and then went back to reading his book. I had to read a bit of a racy book and then go and touch myself in the sea (hopefully that doesn't sound sleazy, I just felt so bloody sexy). When we got back to the hotel room he couldn't stop telling me how turned on he was watching other people (men and women) look at my breasts, especially as he then had to retain an element of control until he got me on his own again

A former BF of mine was similar to your husband and yes was also a holiday think. I'm not a nudist by any means but we ended up on a beach in Greece, long stretch and basically middle bit has some topless ladies but right at the end was the convention you could (not must go nude. We ended up at the end one day as it was a bit busy and frankly was the best part. Some topless, some nude and was also very relaxed etc.

BF decided to try nude. He loved. Got chatted up by the odd gay guy but was all good humoured etc and eventually I also relented and went nude. Actually found it quite liberating if honest, especially swimming etc. but also apparent some guys definately looking and admiring, also so,e women...almost a bit like body rating.

Looking back it was good fun and I enjoyed....but frankly I could t do it on some freezing hidden U.K. beach thanks

My wife has always gone topless on beaches, and about ten years ago, we both tried and liked nude beaches.
Met some great people, no judgements and enjoy that type of holiday now. I started first and my wife followed a year later, totally by choice.
Less packing to do, often carry on luggage only and quieter accommodation are also benefits

I've been to nude beaches a few times on holiday and didn't see anyone parading about showing off, so I'm not sure you'll be welcomed if you do that. There were sometimes other beaches near the nude beaches where anything was accepted but that was a totally different lifestyle that isn't for me and DH.

My wife and I are both naturists there’s no such thing as the perfect body.
naturism has nothing to do with sex it’s a way of life.

This! My wife once let me untie her string bikini bottom as I massaged her on a quiet clothing-optional beach in Hawaii. She was lying on her back, very relaxed. First I let the triangle of her suit loosely cover her, then I just pulled it down completely. There were two other clothed couples walking about the shore and the guys definitely saw that she had a fresh wax and was visibly quite turned on. We both couldn't wait to get back to the hotel room!!
